: Subshrub < 40 cm, with slender, sometimes twining, tangled branches

: leaves opposite, narrow, with dolabriform hairs (affixed at the middle and branching)

: flowers clawed, petals yellow

: a pair (sometimes 3) samaras, tinged red.
Notes
: flowers have 8-10 oil glands below calyx
