Seeds 1-1.2 mm diam. Fruiting late spring-early fall. Sandy granitic alluvium, Joshua-tree woodlands, salt-desert shrubs and greasewood or creosote bush communities; 1400-2500 m; Ariz., Calif., Nev., Utah.
